Donations In Kind:

It is not always about the money, sometimes it’s that small toy, the school clothing, or even the non-perishable foodstuffs that make a difference or provide the relief on an already stretched organisation’s budget.

The Community Chest has a service to donors who wish to donate goods for redistribution. Donations are in the form of clothing, stationery items, non-perishable foodstuffs or furniture etc. These products are stored; all corporate branding is removed and prepared for distribution.

Regular donors to this project are the EDCON Group, Foschini, Truworths and Stuttaford Van Lines, Paarmans Kitchen CC and Pronto Trading.
