MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a content creator
- Proven photography and videography experience
- Proficient in editing software such as CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Experience with Meta platforms, TikTok, and YouTube
- Proficiency in Graphic Design on CapCut and Powerpoint would be an advantage.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Community Chest of the Western Cape is looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media Content Creator to join our team full-time. The successful candidate must have a passion for visual storytelling and creating engaging content aligned with Community Chest’s campaigns, projects, and brand values.
The role includes planning, capturing, and editing photo and video content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, including both long- and short-form content. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications across all digital platforms.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Create and manage engaging social media content across all platforms
Develop photo, video, graphic, and written content
Assist in growing Community Chest’s online presence and YouTube platform
Edit content using modern editing techniques and AI tools where appropriate
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and creative concepts Coordinate shoot logistics and support campaign-related activities
