My name is Akona Malongwe, I am originally from Eastern Cape. I am one of the longest serving staff members at Community Chest having been with the organisation for almost 20 years. I joined as an intern after graduating from Cape Peninsula University of Technology. In 2023, I completed an Advanced Diploma in Accounting Science through Unisa. I am also a proud mother a 12 year old son. Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time with my family.
